What is a Tabletop RPG?
A type of roleplaying game (RPG) where the players describe their characters' actions through speech. Players determine the actions of their characters based on their created backstory, personality, and theme, and the actions succeed or fail according to a set of rules and guidelines, adjudicated by the Gamemaster (GM) who is hosting the gaming session. Within the rule set, players can improvise and have the freedom to act as they choose, with their choices directly influencing the outcome of the game.
